Here he is! All finished and pretty photos taken!
There are more photos of him in the "Finished Project" page on this site.
Thank you to my boyfriend for helping me re-name the theme Octopets like this one would be placed under. I was going to go with Mad Science but Krakenstein sounded way cooler so ill save that one for another theme. I am thinking I am going to do a poster like this for all my themed creations, kinda fun to create name and poster for each one. What do you think?
"I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by."
So minor details added, after walking away from my work and then coming back I figured out how to fix the look of the stitches ( which i wasn't happy with).
Once cooked it will look like translucent thread.
Was hoping to get more done but during the Christmas season I sometimes have trouble finding my creative energy. It seems weird to admit that when I'm in a low day I find going to the mall and wondering it for a few hours helps. I don't really shop I just like seeing the decorations, hearing the upbeat music, seeing happy families. I know it is a fabricated sense of happiness that is ment to support you shopping but it makes me feel a bit better.
Anyone else ever do this around the holiday season when they are feeling down?
Here is my latest Creation in the making process!
I have so many themed Octopets that in the works and i hope to release my first line of them next spring at the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo!
This little dude is inspired by the always Loved Mad Science experiment involving re-assembled corpses brought back to life using lightning and brightly coloured chemicals!
I'm not sure if i want to release a theme of mixed octopets or if i want to release a one theme collection... More photos will be coming as he is completed more!
